Lot 3 Vintage HILLCRAFT Castlecraft Gold Filled Wire Slip Earrings. 2 Lucite confetti and foil and a real cute pair of teeny dangle red Rhinestone Stars.These items are not stamped. The red lucite confetti dangle 1-11/16" The silver foil lucite ball with a faux pearl dangle 15/16". The red rhinestone stars dangle 1-1/8" . This style and design of earrings are indicative of Hillcraft jewelry from the 50s and all pieces were hand wired, using gold filled wire and caps. They had a huge selections of glass and Lucite pieces, and the owners went on buying trips, purchasing glass cabochons and beads from Czechoslovakia, Germany, New York and Japan. Pearls were also used but if it was a Hillcraft piece all items had the gold filled wire design, pearls had a curved "cage". I cleaned these after I pictured them, so if you see any verdigris on pictures, it all pretty came off on all 3 pieces. Please refer to pics for closeup details. Check out my other items !
