Beautiful original rayon Sari in earthy colors of the season.This Sari dates back to 1960's or 70's. Diagonal stripes and fully decorated with silver threads and sequins at one end. The main part of the sari has this ornamentation only half way up; this is how saris are typically decorated, as this part wraps around the waist. the fully decorated part goes over the head or shoulder.Very good condition, with a few loose threads.198 inches (16 1/2 FEET, or 5 1/2 YARDS!!) of beautiful ethnic fabric (5 METERS!!) for costuming or to wear as intended. 45 inches wide (115 cm)I am slowly listing many textiles and other treasures from my collections, please see my other auctions and keep checking back!Thanks for looking.
