This auction is for a mint condition Japanese military 1931-1934 Manchurian Incident war medal. The bronze medal and silk ribbon are perfect. The case has a little shelf wear. The Manchurian Incident was also known as the Mukden Incident ( /wiki/Mukden_Incident ). The medal's bar reads JUUGUN KISHOU (Military Service Medal). The last four photos are just to show you how and wear the medal was worn and some Japanese soldiers in Manchuria. The one photo shows "The Tiger of Malaya" wearing this medal, fourth from the left. The medal was established by Imperial Edict No. 255 of July 23, 1934. This has a very nice design, a kite on the front with Imperial Japanese Navy and Army helmets in a field of cherry blossoms on the reverse. Win multiple auctions and save on shipping costs.
