VINTAGE 1940 KNICKERBOCKER 596 CO WALT DISNEY PINOCCHIO COMPOSITION FIGARO CAT TOY A, very rare, circa 1940 Knickerbocker composition toy of " Figaro " the cat from Walt Disney's Pinocchio. This adorable toy has the original paper hang tag that reads " WALT DISNEY'S PINOCCHIO " FIGARO " on one side and " kNICKERBOCKER TOY CO. INC. NEW YORK Made Under Sanitary Laws " on the other side (see photos). Embossed on the stomach is " FIGARO W.D. PR. KNICKERBOCKER TOY CO. MADE IN U.S.A. " (see photo). The legs, head, and tail are all moveable (and still poseable). This wonderful Toy measures approximately 7 1/2" tall x about 7" long (depending on how you pose him). It is in very good condition with only the usual crazing to the surface of the composition and a little paint loss, here and there. For what this is, and the age, it looks great! A very rare, original, Walt Disney Figaro Toy, made by Knickerbocker, to add to any collection! Being offered as is and with No Reserve! High bidder to pay all shipping costs.
