Up For Auction With No Reserve Vintage R.L. Griffith, Providence, R.I.-14 KT Yellow Gold & Black Onyx Pierced/Post Earrings These beautiful dainty earrings are in great condition with little to no signs of wear, the black onyx buttons are perfect with no surface scratching. These are small earrings that measure just a 1/4 inch across. I have include a magnified photo of the makers mark on the post. The marks are quite difficult to make out, but appears to be the mark of R.L. Griffith, they read "14 KT", along with a makers mark that appears as a G with an arrow through it. The backs are both marked 14K, however not likely original as they slightly differ from each other. R.L. Griffith made jewelry in Providence, R.I, from 1879 -1981. Simply a lovely pair of 14K gold post earrings. A nice addition to anyc collection. Please see my other auctions for more great vintage jewelry.
