WELCOME! Stunning Vintage Amethyst Two Tone Marquis Ring ~ Pur ple Stone with Amber Tones 4.43 Grams ~ Size 5.75 ~ Crown is .75 " Sterling Ring and Unknown Hallmark No issues ~ The photos do not do the ring justice ! This is a gorgeous and sturdy ring. The shank is nice and thi ck with no bends and only normal, mild surface scratches. It is marked Sterling in teensy letters but is readable with a glass. The stone is really fabulous. I am not a stone expert. I bought this at an e state sale and it was marked Amethyst. The stone is purple with a n amber tone. The stone is beautifully carved with a sort of beveled ridge arou nd the edge. In the photos, it appears that the point is stunted but I have lo oked at this ring carefully and t hat is just the cut of the stone.
