Vintage McCormick Platte-Valley Corn Whiskey Stoneware Jug with part of the original corkMeasures: 6-1/2" x 4-1/4"Reads: "Platte Valley ~ Since 1856~ 750 ml.~ 100% Straight Corn Whiskey ~ Selected and Bottled by McCormick Distilling Co. ~ Weston, MO. ~ 40% ALC/VOL ~ (80 PROOF)No Chips or Cracks that I can find. Nice fine crazing all over for great patina~I am told the Hilly Billy jug was made in the 60's but I can not fine a way to verify that. This is consigned so I have no further information. This jug would be a great addition to any Crock, Jug, or Whiskey Collection.
