OLD NAVAJO Fred HARVEY tourist ERA Sterling SILVER Bracelet Marked Sterling with Bell Trading Post Hallmark Tonopah Nevada Blue Gem Turquoise Beautiful delicate OLD hand wrought hand hammered Navajo Sterling Silver cuff bracelet from the Fred HARVEY Tourist ERA. It is stamped Sterling with the Bell Trading Post Hallmark. A small delicate well made bracelet with nice detailed stamp work and lovely smooth aged natural patina. The Turquoise is a beautiful genuine natural greenish blue aged Tonopah Nevada Turquoise with natural matrix and inclusions. Dates back to the railroad tourist days when railroads taking tourists across the west would stop at Fred Harvey hotels and trading posts along the route where travelers could watch Native American artisans at work and could purchase hand made souvenirs. This one survived the years in excellent condition. The cuff weighs 9.2 Grams. It is 3/4 inch at the widest point on the face of the bracelet then tapers to the tips.
