It comes with the Type SN and SF base plates as shown in the paperwork. Unit takes 2 - AA batteries and works very well. I put it on a $20 bill (not included) and was amazed at the clarity and superior detail at 50X magnification. This microscope measures 6 3/8" x 2 3/8" X 1 1/2" boxed, making it a true pocket instrument. If you are a botanist doing field work in rough or inhospitable terrain, Drop this in a ziplock bag in your pack or pocket and don't worry that it will break like a cheap plastic instrument. If you repair watches or are a quality control inspector, I don't think you will find a better or more versatile scope for this money. Collectors who want to get up close and personal with currency, coins, stamps, textiles, or insects will really appreciate this Omag as well. What you see is what you get, batteries not included.
