VTG signed "Virgil and Shirley Benn" Sterling Flower Brooch w/ Channel Inlay of Spiny Oyster & Abalone "2-1/2" x "1-3/8" Created by a world renowned Native American(Zuni) husband and wife team, this exquisite, hard-to-find flower brooch has hand carved spiny oyster and abalone inset into sterling. The channel inlay technique used to create this masterpiece is a technique that this couple is known for and creates jewelry pieces which are both highly recognizable and unique. Condition: Very good; inset shell pieces are original and tight, light surface "wear" scratches are present all around, sterling shows areas with minor tarnish. Item is sold in "as-is" condition.
