Vintage Norwegian Solje brooch. Measures approximately 1" wide and is marked on the back with 830S and what looks like a simple butterfly design hallmark. Looked online to find the designer who used a butterfly, but could not find one. This brooch came from an old friend who was Norwegian and traveled to Norway many times, so I am sure this was made in Norway -- it is just the designer who is unknown to me. Has 6 lovely dangles or spoons, and closes with a simple C clasp on back. Beautiful brooch for a Norwegian wedding or any vintage brooch collection.
