Subscribe to My Newsletter! ......heavy+wide...... I am pleased to offer this wide and heavy bracelet from early Mexico, circa 1940. The design is a take off on Hector Aguilar's popular fertility motif and the artisan who made this bracelet amplified the design by making it wide and chunky at 69 grams of solid sterling silver. Though not marked, this is definitely a made in Mexico piece, I have handled many of these over the years and can guarantee the origin and silver content. This big boy closes with a wide and well working hook clasp. A wonderful piece in excellent condition!! Hallmark : Unmarked Size: Wearable Length: 6 1/2"; Width: 1 1/2"; Grams: 69 A note about "wearable length". Often sellers just put the length of a bracelet measured straight out -- this is NOT a good way to measure for your wrist. The best measurement is a "wearable length" which is defined as the bracelet clasped and then the inside measured (the inner circumference). Your wrist should be NO bigger than the "wearable length" in order to wear it comfortably, as measured with a soft cloth tape measure. read more
