The Home Shopping Network (HSN) started their own line of costume jewelry back in the late 80s and they called it TECHNIBOND. Essentially it is a .925 sterling silver base and then 40mils of 18k gold is bonded to it. They started off with chains which were manufactured in Italy and then went on to bracelets, rings etc. In the mid 90s they began to have the jewelry manufactured in Asia. This is an Asian piece. It will comfortably fit an 8" wrist. It consists of 5 fully faceted bars of green adventurine, capped and separated by the bonded gold pieces. Its a substantial bracelet - has some weight. Each bar of adventurine measures approximately 1" x 6/8". The hallmarks 925 and what I believe reads CHINA is on the back of the fold over clasp. I've owned the bracelet since 1995 and its always been kept in a pet and smoke free environment. This is a sterling silver based piece so I kept it in a silver saver - if you think it needs cleaning a simple jewelers cloth should do the trick. Thanks for taking the time to look!
