Offered is a VINTAGE WILTON, SCHILLER PARK, ILLINOIS, BULLET VISE MARKED 8C1 and 101039. The vise measures 17 1/2" long, 8 1/4" high, the jaws are 4 1/4" wide, opens at least 6", and the throat is 4 1/2". The pipe jaws are held in place by 2 heavy pins per jaw, and I believe they are removable. The vise shows signs of use, has some surface rust, there are no cracks on the non-swivel base, and the handle is straight. I believe this heavy duty industrial vise came from the Studebaker factory as it was purchased with other Studebaker items at an estate sale of a former Studebaker employee. This vise will be shipped in a wooden box to the contiguous U.S. only, and the total weight is about 70 pounds. It will be shipped via FEDEX Home Delivery (unless you prefer another service) as it is cheaper than UPS Ground and USPS does not accept a wooden box. The cost to ship this via FEDEX Home Delivery from Indiana (46506) to California (95437) is $73.65, and shipping from Bremen (46506) to Indianapolis (46220) is $25.28.
