This is a very nice and clean 1930s to early WWII era Japanese TEIKOKU ZAIGOU GUNJIN KAI (Imperial Reservist Soldier League) official member badge that was worn on festive occasions and ceremonies. It comes in the original case too. These were worn by both the ordinary army and navy members, there was no difference. The badge is in mint condition, no damage at all. Case is in excellent condition too. The badge measures 35 mm from top to bottom. I've included a few photos just so you can see how/where it was worn on the tunic. The photos show soldiers wearing the normal badge, the placement would have been the same. See my other auctions, I have the regular badge on auction today.
