HI up for sale is my much loved 1979 Mark 1 Polo, 1093 CC "Polly" bought in 2008 this car has had 4 owners from new including me. The old boy who had it before me had lovingly looked after her and when it came into my possession it only had 23,000 miles on the clock. She is a great car and starts first time. used as a daily during summer months making an appearance at a few shows, the rest of the time she has been in storage. We own a Bay and are soon to be taking on a new project as well as getting married so Polly wont get the love and attention that she needs. She has never been welded and has been fully wax oiled underneath at some point in the past. Every year shes flies through the MOT and the mechanics cant believe the condition of her. Has had a new wing at some point prior to us owning her but other that and the addition of some ATS classic wheels and a beetle roof rack she is as original as when she left the factory. Car is a GLS model and features the chrome trim and factory fitted working metal sunroof. Roof lining is clean and tidy however seats are worn with the sun damaging the upholstery on the rear seats. Fronts are a little worn but still comfy and would just need re-upholstering. Car has a genuine 33,805 miles on the clock and has just passed the MOT.
