Up for sale is a RARE J.W. Longaberger Original Market basket woven by John Wendell Longaberger. J.W. originals are prized collectibles among Longaberger enthusiasts. These baskets, woven by John Wendell Longaberger (J.W.) himself, are very rare in the secondary market. Currently, if taken to Dresden, other members of the Longaberger family will authentic and confirm these beautiful treasures on your behalf. As you can see I have has this basket authenticated by Judy and Jerry Longaberger. This basket is very rare and a great basket to add to anyone's collection. This basket dates around 1940-50's and is in used condition. This basket does have some broken splits as you can see in the photos. Over all this is a very nice basket and is full of character and history. Happy bidding and good luck!!! Will ship Fed-ex and provide insurance.
