This is a real peice of history. It belonged to my late Father. He was an RAF pilot in the 26th squadron. He saw action in Europe from late 1944 until the end of the war. He flew the Spitfire, Typhoon and Tempest. Mostly in ground attack sorties. After the war he was a bush pilot in Canada. I am not 100% sure this is the exact flight suit he wore in action, nor am I sure of the vintage as I cannot find any research on this online. My Dad would have certainly have known but he passed away some years ago. I am not an expert when it comes to this sort of thing. It has a few small holes on the collar and one leg and the zipper tabs have a bit of green discoloration. Other than that in is in good condition. The size is not marked. It fit my father well and he was 5' 8" and 170 pounds, so I guess that would make it a medium.
