This Wadeheath Jug has no cracks or chips. Around the base is the inscription 'They are all doing the Lambeth walk oi!' and Wade Heath England is on the base underside. I believe it dates back to the 1930s. There is some micro crazing to the glaze visable under a lens and there are some tiny white flecks just visable on the glaze in several places, otherwise in reasonable condition for age. It is 9" high and about 9" acoss the handle and spout This is from my late mothers extensive private Wade collection of scarce items of all sorts, all to be sold eventually. There is a price ticket of £110 on the underside so must assume this was the catalogue/purchase price from many years ago. This item is probably too delicate to post so collection from Poole is preferred but other arrangments can be made
