These antique footed tea cups are elegantly gilded and are in MINT condition! What a stunning addition to your collection! The maker of these tea cups has an impressive history. Johann Haviland Company, founded in 1907 in Waldershof, Germany by John Haviland, produced everyday china, hotel china, and also high-quality china for home use. The company was sold in 1924 to Richard-Ginori and the name changed to Porzellanfabrik Waldershof AG. In 1937, Rosenthal China of Germany purchased the company and began producing fine china for export to the United States, marked Johann Haviland, Bavaria, Germany . These tea cups bear the Waldershof backmark of a crown above a crest, in which Bavaria over a N made of vines over the name Waldershof and Germany below - all in gold. Additionally, each cup and saucer is stamped Made in Germany. THIS IS NOT A REPRODUCTION - IT IS THE REAL THING! These tea cups are from the estate of an elderly woman who's many possessions date to the early 1900s. Condition All tea cups and saucers are in EXCELLENT without chips, cracks, nor crazing.
