The item up for auction is a Waldorf Blofeld which is in excellent condition. Here's the complete rundown on the wear and the most important aspect of a used Blofeld, the knobs and pots: There is some slight rash like a few pencil mark scratches on the back top corner. The knob next to the LCD turns like an encoder in steps and the other pot is a perfectly normal pot, both working exactly as they should. All of the other encoders that people tend to have issues with aren't too tight and not to loose. They turn smoothly and have no jumps or wobble like a lot of other Blofelds, even new ones, can be plagued with. The Blofeld sounds exactly as it did the day it was unboxed from when I ordered it new a little less than a year ago. You will be getting the full keyboard edition that normally costs $1,200 brand new and there's no guessing as to if the knobs are going to be "bad". The basic features of this synth are virtual-analog synthesis, wavetables, plenty of room for sampling, etc., etc. The Blofeld is capable of producing a wide range of sounds from hauntingly beautiful to wildly crazy.
