THIS PIECE HAS THE PRICE TAG STILL ATTACHED TO THE BACK WITH THE ARTIST'S NAME, m.hines. THE PRICE WAS $80.00 IN 1966 NASHVILLE, TN. IT IS 29 1/2 " WIDE AT THE LONG END AND 21 1/2 " AT THE SHORT. IT HAS HANGERS ATTACHED FOR HANGING IN EITHER DIRECTION. THE COLOR DOES NOT SHOW WELL IN THE PHOTOS. Please add $5 if you wish gift wrapping. It may be tin or sheet metal that has been cut and shaped. It also looks like the accents on the 'petals' are soldered and finally the piece appears to be painted a metallic gold or brass. This piece is eye catching, adds drama in a calming and mind engaging way. When it was hung in its alcoved space in my in-laws home, it would always draw my contemplation. It suggests nature budding forth to me. It is like one of those time-elapsed videos of a flower budding and coming to maturity . A new start.
