Aesthetic Pattern ~ late 1800s R WALLACE & SONS Set of 12 Coffee / Sorbet Spoons Offered is this set of 12 exquisite, butler's-finish gold-washed spoons from R. Wallace & Sons. They could be coffee or sorbet spoons - about 4 1/4'' long with charming lobed shoulders to the bowl. Have never seen nor could I identify the pattern - a stunning Arctic scene featuring icicles, a polar bear by the water, and sunset! Magnificent little gems! CONDITION: Excellent. Minor wear to the gold on some spoons. Excellent detail to the pattern. Very little if any wear. SIZE: (approximate) 4 3/16'' WEIGHT: approximately, postal scale 6.5 oz., 186 g.
