Wallace & Tiernan model FA199031 Altimeter in overall good shape. Some light scratches and dings on the top and sides, small dents and scraping on the bottom,(shown in last photo). This unit is dated 4-13-59, marked USAF as shown. The limited test I did for operation of the unit was to go from the ground floor of my home then up two flights and for each flight it changed 4 meters (note its in meters). This seems accurate, but its a VERY limited test, so I'm going to sell it as is. The range of the guage goes from 0-4800 meters.Upper storage section includes three weatherproof conversion charts and a case with a spare needle in it. I used one of the two spare bulbs to swap out one that burned out, but they both work. Requires (2) D batteries (not included). T are a few spaces w other items would have clipped in but they're missing, so I don't know what they were. Wait, actually I'm sure one was for replacement desiccant, which its going to need since I just dumped what was in it on my floor (oops)... it looks like just silca gel.
