Wally Ames Oil Painting "Rose Arbor by the River" Offered for sale is this fine original oil painting by the Vermont artist, Wally Ames of Putney. This small oil on board painting is of a rose arbor in a garden by a river. It is signed "WA" in the lower right and "W Ames" on the reverse, as is typical for Ames' work.The painting measures 8 inches by 10 inches by sight, with the gold colored frame measuring 11 3/8 inches by 13 3/8 inches. The painting and frame weighs 1 lbs 9 oz (shipping weight 3 3/4 lbs which includes a fitted piece of hardboard, frame corners, bubble wrapping and packaging).Condition: The painting is in excellent condition.
