Mid-late Victorian walnut twin section tea caddy. Tunbridge style bands to the top and front. Inlaid 'lozenge' cartouche and escutcheon. All inlay original and no missing or replaced veneer. Lid closes square. Original brass lock with replacement hasp (key for decorative purposes only). Original hinges. Original lining to both sections and lid interior. Replacement lids with matching turned brass knobs. Measures approximately 9" x 5" x 4 ½". Unpacked weight: 0.7 Kg Please see my other rare, unusual and/or high quality boxes currently listed.
