A Walter Brockmann Lighted Snow House The Inn House Walter H. Brockmann is recognized by many collectors as the father of lighted ceramic Christmas houses. He began making his signature houses, churches, trees and other village accessory pieces as a post-retirement hobby in the 1960s. He eventually grew his hobby into a business, which he called WB Studios. For many years, he sold his creations at Bachman’s, a floral gift and specialty store. His designs represent quintessential American scenes. Individually hand-crafted and hand-painted in the United States, no two WB creations are exactly alike. Walter Brockmann’s houses and village pieces are treasured by collectors, made with beautiful attention to detail, and are very, very charming! All my auction items are from a smoke-free home.
