Up for auction is a huge Walter Fleming face jug. This 3+ gallon piece is just shy of 16" tall. It has a very nice runny alkaline glaze with glass runs. Stamped on the bottom "Walter P Fleming." This piece is in perfect condition. Mr. Fleming is a retired Presbyterian minister who now is the senior potter of the Catawba Valley . He digs his clay and fires his wares on his property in Statesville , NC . Please email me with any questions or for more/larger pictures.
