You are bidding on (1) Walter Hagen medallion. The 2"w X 1/8" thick medallion was cast for the Stineman Awards company in South Fork, Pa where I formerly worked . The medallions were coupled with plaques and given to winners of the tournament when it started back in 1968 or 1969 after Mr. Hagen's death. The Stineman Co. made these awards for the Cancer Society until the early 70's. The medallions being offered are remaining new-old-stock (nos) that was hidden for years in their inventory. The medallions are antique-silver finish and solid metal with a two-dimensional, raised relief profile of "The Haig" and the text as seen above. The backs are blank.
