Fair. in boards. Vol. 1 - Front board detached. Spine also detached with most of the backstrip laid in. Rear cover almost detached. Corners bumped and rubbed with rubbing to extremities. Front paste-down has an ex-libris and a few numbers crossed out in ink. A 2 1/2" tear to paper at head. Ffep-xii are loose. Some sporadic foxing throughout. Includes 2 fold-outs which also have some foxing.Vol. 2 - Front and rear boards detached. Spine missing 1" at head and 3" at foot. Corners bumped and rubbed. Ex-libris on front paste-down with some numbers marked through in ink. Page 609 - errata (last printed page) detached. Half-page 'Directions to the Binder' sheet and last free endpaper detached from textblock but attached to rear board. Some foxing throughout.
