Here I have my Washburn Hawk. This was part of the Washburn Wing Series and was made I believe in the late 70's and was made by the Japanese Guitar maker Matsumoku. The guitar has a great low action and is very easy to play, has great sustain, has a straight through neck construction. Has an ash body and weighs about the same as a Gibson Les Paul and is of excellent build quality. It has Original DiMarzio Humbucker Manufacturer: Years Offered: Late 1970's Body: arched top, double cutaway, bound edges . Body Wood(s): ash Neck Wood: 3 piece, maple-rosewood-maple, neck-through. Center neck wood visible on front of headstock. Fingerboard: rosewood, dot inlays. Frets: 22 Scale: 630 mm Tuners: Grover(-ish) , sealed, 3xR, 3xL Pickups: 2x DiMarzio Humbucker, one height adjustment screw per side. Bridge-Tailpiece: Washburn die-cast, string through body Hardware: chrome, brass saddles, brass nut Finish: honey burst, see through dark brown Comment: control cavity (oval shape) and trussrod cover made of plastic, jack input on the front of the guitar. Serial nr is 5 digits (small/narrow font) stamped on back of the headstock. All in all a very nice guitar. This has had a fair amount of use over the years so does show signs on wear.
