This watercolor painting is signed on the bottom left hand corner T. Bailey. Researching the name says it's a pseudonym for several artist's from Massachusetts around the Cape Ann area painting for tourists during the early to Mid 20th Century. The frame measures approx. 16 3/4" x 11 1/2" and has quite a bit of green paint missing. The brown paper on the back appears to be the original with some stains that do not go thru to the painting, also the cardboard on the back is very thick. This calming scenic painting has water, sailboat, trees, hills and a bird maybe swooping in for a fish. A nicely done watercolor painting for your art collection.
