"The beloved poem, "A Visit from St. Nicholas" written by Clement Clarke Moore and enhanced by political cartoonist Thomas Mast's drawing of a rotund, cheery, white-bearded, red suited 'Jolly Old St. Nick' with a sack of toys, elves, and Mrs. Claus gave Americans their image of the famed North Pole resident. No matter what his name or his diverse travel methods, Santa Claus personifies the magic and wonder that mark the Christmas season. The artisans at Waterford Crystal have captured the wonder of the season with a finely etched crystal 'Jolly Old St. Nick", the first of five editions of the Christmas Wonder Collection." 6-1/2" Tall and made in Ireland Acid etched Waterford mark as well as 2006 Limited Edition Damage free, no issues. Santa will arrive in his original satin-lined box with his fold-out information. As typical for these heavy Santa figurines, the box has shelf-wear, mainly due to the weight.
