Estate Sale Purchase 2 Waterford Crystal Kells Champagne Flutes NEW with the Waterford green tag, store tags and signed on the bottom. They stand 8 3/4" tall and are 2 1/2" in diameter at the rim. They have a gold encrusted braided band around the rim and feel great in your hand. Ready for gift giving or make this an addition to your collection. They have been stored in glassware boxes and never used! The crystal is clear and bright. Check out my other items ! Waterford UPDATE: Waterford closed it's Kilbarry facility Friday, September 25th., 2009. There are only 27 staff members left that run the gallery. There is a new facility to open in the town of Waterford with about 100 employees and a $7 Million Dollar cash infusion. In 1981, there were 3,000 people employed by Waterford, so this is a far cry from their heyday. There are rumors of their handmade stemware being manufactured by machine in Asia. This would truly be a downgrade for these items. Right now this is just a rumor. If you know of any truth or falsehood to these rumors, please contact me.
