Waterford Crystal's Lismore pattern - introduced on October 23, 1952 - was created by crystal designer Miroslav Havel. 50 years later, the design stands proud as the world's favourite crystal design. A classic crystal whose simple cuts and balanced beauty are as fresh today as they were when first inspired by the village of Lismore in County Waterford. The village dates back to the early 7th century. Originally called Lios Mor Mocuda, by the 10th century Lismore had become one of Europe's greatest centres of Learning. Lismore is perhaps the most famous of all Waterford designs with its range of stemware being one of the most popular suites ever. Good Luck
