WATERMAN "CARENE" ROLLERBALL PEN ROYAL VIOLET Absolutely beautiful writing instrument that feels as good in the hand as it looks. Impossible for us to take a photograph that truly captures the visual statement that this rollerball pen makes, but we've tried our best. (Sorry to repeat in each listing, but it is true.) The pen is new and includes one (1) black rollerball cartridge that writes well. (We did test.) Sorry, but no display box or manual. These particular pens w/their color schemes are difficult to find on eBay and in short supply at local & online retailers. When you do find one you'll find that the cost is far higher than our BIN price. Of course, if you really want the factory box........ Two years ago we made a bulk purchase of Monteverde & Waterman pens from a major retailer. These were the pens they displayed under glass and allowed customers to hold in their hands. We consider these pens as NEW, but cannot vouch for just how much ink is left in the ballpoint & rollerball cartridges as customers were allowed to sample the writing qualities of these fine instruments. However, the store never loaded ink into the display fountain pens nor were customers allowed to write with them. If we list a fountain pen you can be assured that it was never used/never written with. In addition, the retailer never left a customer alone w/a pen which is why they are all in a new and unblemished condition. Unfortunately, the retailer did toss the display/gift boxes & manuals away so no chance of offering them w/the pens. We don't enjoy selling off our quality pens, but we did originally purchase these to sell on eBay, but ended up adding them to our collection, a collection that has grown far too large due to friends & family attempting to "surprise" us every Christmas w/a new pen or two. Any that we don't sell this time around we'll probably keep. GUARANTEE: We guarantee each of our pens to be genuine and in new to like-new condition, that is, they've not been used for writing projects, just lightly handled/used as customer samples. (The fountain pens have never been loaded or written with!) We will not place any guarantee on just how much ink remains in the ballpoint & rollerball cartridges (cartridges are sold as is). Should any of our pens not be as described upon your inspection you'll have three (3) days to contact us to arrange for a return, upon our approval. If t's a problem, we'll first attempt to replace w/an equivalent pen. Should that not be possible we'll gladly refund the actual bid/purchase price. The buyer will pay all shipping costs in both directions for any returns. INTERNATIONAL buyers must opt for shipping insurance to be eligible for any returns. No returns are ever accepted for "buyer's remorse" so make sure this item is what you want; it is the color you want. SHIPPING: All U.S. customers will receive their pens via USPS Priority Mail for the flat rate of $5.35. You are only being charged for the actual postage & insurance as the boxes are free. T is no handling or packaging fee! INTERNATIONAL customers will pay a modest $1.00 packaging fee & should request the optional insurance as we bear no responsibility for packages "lost in the mails." No matter how many you buy we'll only charge you the USPS rate of $5.35 for shipping and we'll cover the additional insurance just as long as you make all of the purchases within a reasonable amount of time (within 6 hours).
