Here's an excellent WATERMAN oversized 100 YEAR PEN in JET and c1942. The pen is 5-1/4" long with a barrel diameter at the cap opening of .520." The pen has excellent gold filled trim. The cap has an original amber area for about 3/16" at the top where it contacts the clip screw. The material is intact, but has one scratch from the top to the contact with the Jet area below.. very minor and mentioned for accuracy. The rest of the celluloid is excellent. Opposite the clip and closer to the cap band is the 4 line WATERMAN imprint with the last line "HUNDRED YEAR PEN." The pen is a lever filler and it moves with normal resistance and readily takes up ink. The big "WATERMAN, 100 YEAR, PEN" looks like a medium point., straight with good iridium and modest flexibility. A very nice pen. Just now, in preparing this pen (which I've had for at least 20 years) for listing, I decided to check for any transparency with a bright light. Only at the cap lip, below the ring, there is slight greenish transparency, only in this area. visible in this view were two opposing short lines which might have been short cracks. I had not seen them before because they were not visible and cannot be felt in a normal view. I have to conclude that these may have been restored at some point.
