This Watt Pottery Rooster bowl is approx. 13" wide, 3-1/4" high and quite heavy. The back is impressed with 39 and U.S.A. I think it is referred to as a spaghetti bowl. Although I believe this bowl was never used it has some manufacturing flaws. T are several little bumps of glazed over clay on the outside and one on the bottom. It has three brown spots on the inside edge, they appear to be glaze pops you can feel them when you run your finger over them. T is also a spot on the inside edge that is lighter and rough. On the photo(last picture) it looks like paint, as if you could scratch it off but it is in the glaze. On the outside it looks like a very thin surface piece of clay flaked off before it was glazed over. It has one very tiny nick on the rim and it feels like they may have missed the glaze on some of the outside edge of the rim. This bowl is shiny and I see no scratches or signs of use when I tip it in the light. T no other chips, nicks, cracks, repairs or crazing. Please check out the pictures, you can click on Larger Picture for a close-up of the details. Any white spots are glare. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Buyer pays actual shipping charge, no hidden fees.
