Amazing collectible music box by Wayne Higgins - part of the Carousel Maker collection of carousel shaped music boxes. All of the pieces in the collection are very detailed and ornate and only 5000 were manufactured of each. This one is called Indian Pony, #1008. 10.5" tall. Shows a beautiful horse decorated with Indian designs. He has a wolf or some other wild anumal's skin on top with the head showing on the back of the pony. This piece is numbered 20 out of 5000 so this is a highly collectible and one of the first to be made. The music box plays the tune "Indian Love Call". Signed Wayne Higgins - Coynes & Company, Minneapolis, MN. Manufactured 1996-1997. The horse is in mint condition however a tiny piece chipped off from the mane (see photo) as I was packing this. Other than that no chips or cracks and beautifully preserved colors. Payment: Payment through PayPal only. Payment is due within 2 days of auction's end.
