This porcelain sculpture was released in 1996 from the Walt Disney Classics Collection . It was a Numbered Limited Edition of 12,500 sculptures. This is a retired piece. "Retired" means that the molds are destroyed and the sculptures are no longer produced, making them (rare) collectors items. This sculpture of Sylvester Macaroni completed a scene from Disney's animated short Symphony Hour . The scene consisted of Mickey Mouse "Maestro Michel Mouse," Donald Duck "Donald's Drum Beat," Goofy "Goofy's Grace Notes," Clara Cluck "Bravo Bravissimo," Clarabelle Cow "Clarabelle's Crescendo," and Horace Horsecollar "Horace's High Notes." At the time of release, the sculpture of Donald Duck was very popular. Check out my other figurines to complete your Symphony. Sylvester comfortably sits in a brown sofa chair, smoking a cigar, resting his head in his hand and sitting legs crossed enjoying the Symphony. He wears a tuxedo; white shirt, blue vest, black coat, pants and shoes . The sculpture measures about 5 1/2" tall, 5 3/4" across the front from left to right, and 7 1/4" deep (front to back). Comes in original box with Certificate of Authenticity.
