offered for auction is a lot of 3 vintage wedgewood black jasperware trinket boxes, and one vintage wedgewood cigarette or toothpick holder- start an instant wedgewood collection, or add to your existing collection. though wedgwood's jasperware pattern dates to the 1700's, the pieces still look fresh and modern, and lend themselves to a variety of decors, from traditional to today's hot eclectic hollywood regency style (i wonder how much this kind of jasperware influenced dorothy draper's over the top black and white style?) these marked pieces all probably date from the 1950's to the 1970's, and are in fantastic vintage condition- no chips or cracks, the only flaw i can see is a some loss of the black dip color to a small portion of the rim of largest trinket box lid (see pic). largest box is 5" diameter by 4" high, matching small box is 3" diameter by 2 1/2" high, scalloped edge box is 5" diameter by 2 1/4" high, and holder is 2 1/4" by 2 1/4". no reserve, have fun! los angelesresidents are welcome to view any of our items in person. weare located near fairfax/olympic/pico- please email for an appointment. local pick-up is always preferred!!!!!! shipping: flat rate of $20.00 domestic continental 48 shipping (insured). please allow 30 days handling time for all shipments (yes, you read it right- 30 days - we have a busy design practice and travel frequently, so we often can't ship any faster). in return for our horribly slow shipping time, we provide safe and secure packaging so you get your purchase in undamaged, as described condition. wouldn't you rather wait a little longer for a truly great item than get a box of broken junk in a hurry? we thought so. sorry, we do not ship internationally. shipping, when offered, is quoted at a flat rate so you know exactly the total amount you are actually bidding on an item- no surprises. we can't ship to a po box, and a contact telephone number is required. if we can safely combine multiple purchases for shipping, we are happy to do so. if you use buy-it-now and plan to pick item up in person and pay shipping on your invoice, we will refund the shipping cost either via paypal or with cash at pick-up- whichever is the buyer's preference. more stuff: all sales are final- don't worry though, everything is as described (most people think better than described as we try to note any and all flaws, no matter how minor). you'll love your purchase- really! please ask any questions before the close of the auction, and don't panic if it takes a day or so for us to respond- sometimes we are away from home with no internet access but try to check in at least every 48 hours. all of our items are vintage, unless noted, so expect a little wear and tear. if you want something to look brand new, we suggest design within reach. old electric stuff should be checked by an electrician. we like people to see our items in person, and we have lots more stuff for sale that isn't listed on ebay. please call first, though- we are not a storefront with regular hours. ebay should be fun- we are nice and expect you to be too! don't bid and then not pay- not nice!
