My "dish fetish" has resulted in quite a collection of rarely or never used pieces. As much as it pains me, I'm "letting them go" so they can be loved and used as they should. This set was given to me by an aunt who lived in England for many years, and accumulated a lot of china as well. It has moved a few times, but never been unpacked. Please know it has been meticulously stored, and this particular set HAS NEVER BEEN USED ! It is therefore in PRISTINE MINT NEW condition. Up for sale: Wedgwood “ FLORENTINE GOLD ” STUNNING!! SOUP TUREEN with Underplate *** This is a truly spectacular piece – I am sad to see it go, but I just don’t have the space to display it properly. I have quite a lot of this pattern (I included a few photos of “the group” to give you a better idea), so if there’s something you’re looking for, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I will be listing most of these pieces with NO RESERVE. However, on a few of the larger serving pieces I may include a reserve as I’m prepared to keep them if makes sense. J The pattern is "FLORENTINE GOLD" and was manufactured by Wedgwood China from 1961 through 1986. This is Wedgwood's pattern #W4219. Each piece in the pattern is decorated with gold outlined dragons in various poses against a white background. The rims of each piece are trimmed in gold. The CONDITION of this piece is MINT BRAND NEW CONDITION . There are absolutely no cracks, chips or flakes on any of the pieces. They show no evidence of ever being used. The gold decoration is exquisite on all pieces. (While not this piece, most of this group is still in its original Wedgwood plastic sleeves.)
