This is a Wedgwood & Co Ltd bowl with the impressed mark which I believe dates to 1900. I have adjusted the price accordingly. Wedgwood Jasper Ware DARK BLUE Bowl Silver Plate Rim -- Antique. 3.75" Tall x 8.75" diameter MARKED. Top silver rim was loose from auction and I do not want to force it back on. There is a small ding/chip on the rim shown in picture 10 from someone at auction trying to force silver rim back on. The silver PLATE rim has worn in places - see pictures 4&5. There is white on the sides of the bowl in places - this is silver polish residue. I washed some of it off but not all - you can see in picture 7 where the silver polish residue is. There are a few glaze pops on the inside of the bowl. Incised mark. A great old, rare piece of dark blue jasper by Wedgwood. A little bit of tender loving care and this will once again be a beautiful show piece. T here are no OTHER discrepancies, chips, cracks, nicks, fleabites or repairs. I do sometimes miss something, but do not mean to deceive. Please note, that we lightly wipe off items with a damp (water) cotton cloth but do not clean the item. We leave that for the new owner.
