A THING OF BEAUTY IS A JOY FOREVER! For auction is an adorable Wedgwood vintage jasperware desk clock in the color of PALE BLUE and adorned with raised WHITE relief. This sweet clock has a very graceful arched shape. The top of the clock is adorned with a lovely large flower centered between two beautiful leafy plumes. The dial of the clock is fashioned with Roman numerals and has a minute and hour hand, but does not have a second hand. The dial of the clock is marked with the words "Wedgwood" and "Quartz". Below the dial of the clock is a cameo taken from the mythological series known as "Boys at Play" or "Cupids at Play" All of the adornment on the clock is executed in highly detailed and beautifully intricate raised white relief. The approximate dimensions are as follows: the width of the clock (at its widest point) is 2.50 inches; the depth of the clock is 7/8ths of 1 inch; the length of the base of the clock is 3 inches; the width of the base of the clock is 1 and and 1/8ths inches; and the height of the clock is 3 and 3/8ths inches. The words "Wedgwood" and "Made in England" are impressed on the bottom of the back of the reverse side of the clock. Also impressed thereon are the letters "DS". The clock keeps perfect time!
