Ferrara Jug / Cream Pitcher WEDGWOOD ~ 1941 Delightful little jug from Wedgwood in their Ferrara pattern, beautiful cream white Queen's Ware with pink / cranberry transfer pattern. Ferrara went out of production in 1941 (this one's date mark), and was not produced again until the 1950s, so this is of the earlier production. The design is from 1832 engravings by William Brooks of an Italian harbor scene with floral border. (ref: Robin Reilly, Wedgwood, The New Illustrated Dictionary, 1995, p. 159) CONDITION: Excellent. No chips, cracks, or repair. Minor crazing on bottom of jug, none detected inside or outside. Shows no signs of use!
