Auction is for Wedgwood SWANSEA Embossed Patrician Setting - $ 22.00 for 4 pieces Lovely Wedgwood SWANSEA pattern on the patrician embossed blank, this china was originally produced in 1954, and these pieces are the older version. The backstamp is AK 8386 SWANSEA made in England, WEDGWOOD PATRICIAN. See pictures. There is also an incised WEDGEWOOD on the back of the pieces. This fine bone china is a cream white color, with a wonderful embossed floral spray motif is on the rim. In the center an under-glaze transfer of a floral spray featuring yellow, blue and pinkish-maroon roses that are really sweet. Just perfect for your shabby chic décor!
