Offered for auction is a VINTAGE WEDGWOOD GREEN MAJOLICA FISH GURGLE JUG PITCHER. This beautiful and hard to find jug measures 9 inches tall and the base is 4 x 3 inches. Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. There is a tiny pinpoint frit/rough edge on one of the swirls along the base which may have been done in the making. Of no detriment or consequence, just mentioning for complete accuracy—see last 2 pictures. This pitcher shows so much exquisite detail to the fish and beautiful shadings of green to the glaze. The bottom has printed markings of WEDGWOOD OF ETRURIA & BARLASTON along with an impressed WEDGWOOD.
