This is a pink and white transfer printed plate produced by Wedgwood for a series depicting scenes from the U.S. military academy at West Point. This one is entitled “Cadet Chapel”.It is 10 and 3/8” in diameter and is fully marked on the back-see photo. It is dated 1933.It is in good condition with no chips, cracks, scratches or crazing. There are kiln marks on the base. The transfer print is slightly faded and there are two tiny black specks under the glaze, one on the pattern side and one on the back.I have more Wedgwood plates in this series listed today. If you are successful on more than one of my lots, I may be able to combine them for cheaper postage/shipping. Particularly with glass and ceramics, this may involve additional packing to ensure that the item arrives in one piece. This adds both to the weight of the item and the costs because I have to pay for the packaging materials. I try to keep the packaging costs to a minimum, but I guarantee it will not exceed UK£1 per lot, and in most cases is much less, particularly when I am combining lots and packing them in one parcel. Please take this into account when considering whether to bid and also when giving your feedback in respect of the postage charges.If I find when I post/ship the item that I have over-estimated the cost, I will refund the difference.
