Up for auction is this highly collectable and delicate set of 4 Wild Strawberry Bone China cups (Peony Shape) and saucers by Wedgwo od My husband and I lived in Germany for many years during the late 1980s and again in the late 1990s. We traveled extensively throughout England . I purchased many Wedgwood items in London during our life abroad including this lovely Wild Strawberry bone china set of four cups with accompanying saucers. This set is in perfect, never used condition. After a multitude of moves (always it seems to smaller homes), I find it necessary to thin out some of my treasures from my travels. The soft white bone china is a lovely background for the delicate red strawberries, pale blossoms and green leaves. The hand applied gold rimmed gilding perfectly trims each cup and saucer with no wearing or worn spots. These beautiful cups are in the classic Peony shape and would be perfect at your next cream tea! Please excuse any glare in the photos. It appears like t is missing gold trim in some of the photos. This is from light glare and my camera's flash and not from any defects in the items.
