What a great look. The WEEDEN designed locomotive was manufactured in about 1902 to 1904. This is a reproduction manufactured about 10 to 15 years ago and I believe a small quanity were made at that time. I do not know the new manufacturers name but as you can see there is a builders plate on one side at the base of the cab (see pictures). The original sold by WEEDEN came with an 8 wheel tender and several coaches the same tender and coaches as those sold with their WEEDEN DART locomotive The original locomotive by WEEDEN is very scarce today as it did not injoy the popularity that the DART set did. I don't think that a reproduction tender came with this locomotive. This locomotive will sit tightly on a piece of Standard gauge track but I believe that the the wheels will have to be moved in about 1/8 inch (looks like there is room) to narrow it to 2" the original WEEDEN size. The locomotive is about 11 3/4 inches long and 4 1/2 inches high. It looks like it has been designed to operate, includes a burner, like the original by WEEDEN, but I have not tried it. There is a small bend in the corner of the cab roof (see picture) and also two very small dents in the side of the boiler (see picture 12).
